Sourcing

Every figure on a route page traces to a published, route-specific source: carrier tariffs and rate tables, one-way truck rental pricing, car-shipping quotes, mileage and drive-time data, and published rent figures for the destination. We do not publish figures we cannot trace to a source.

What gets published — and what doesn't

• A route page is only published when research finds enough distinct route data to be useful. Routes where the record is too thin are dropped, not padded.
• Every draft passes a quality screen before publication; drafts that fail are rejected and not published.
• Costs are presented as ranges, because move size, timing, access at both ends, and fuel prices move real quotes substantially.

AI assistance

We use AI tools for research collection and drafting under editorial direction, with route-specific sources as the input. Pages that cannot be grounded in published sources are killed rather than published. See about for who runs this site.

Corrections and updates

Rates move — long-distance pricing shifts with fuel costs and season, and peaks in summer. If you spot a figure that has since changed, use the quote form on any page to reach us and we will re-verify against current published rates.
